Sameer Honwad can speak to the media about science and environmental education, and access, equity and diversity in K-12 education.
Honwad’s research focuses on environmental decision-making processes and how students merge different knowledge systems to make sustainable environmental decisions pertaining to their everyday lives.
His projects include “,” a multi-institutional collaboration that aims to deepen the connection of future Native American decision-makers to their land, their community and scientific processes that are relevant to daily life.
